My Top 9 Summer Wardrobe Essentials from Nordstrom
Summer is officially here in AZ...it's been 100 plus degree temps, for a few weeks now...ugh! Arizona, is heaven on earth, till summer hits...and then, I totally miss my days living in Los Angeles...ha! I definitely need to book our summer vacations and quickly, to help get out of our little oven of a state...:)
I wanted to share with you gals, my top summer essentials!! Summer is such an amazing season...as it always involves great trips, kids home from school, long nights with friends and family, warm weather, and just a host of fun memories to be made.
I partnered up again with Nordstrom to share with you my fav picks. It's no secret my love affair with them...They are so spot on with current trends and always ahead of the industry. I love that they carry a variety of price points! I'll spend a ton of money on handbags, but with clothing, I like to be more price conscious, because I am always changing things up. I also love to invest in pieces that I wear a variety of ways, dress up or down, and comfort has gotten to be more important then ever these days.

1) The Jumpsuit/Romper
Obsessing over this trend! It can either be sleek and chic, or fun and perky. Loving both these looks, and if you haven't tried one, you should definitely step out of your comfort zone on this one! Such a fun look...and still..."one and done"...my favorite tagline for getting dressed!

2) Bright and Fun Floral
Summer is the time to introduce lots of colors and prints...upgrade your neutrals, and add some color honey! I find color such a mood lifter, so I try to add as much as I can. Obsessing over this wrap dress...love the print, love the layered flirty sleeves, and the happy color! Plus, wrap dresses look fabulous on anyone!
3) The Bralette
I've been layering her everywhere...under dresses, all my tanks, sweaters for winter, and v-neck tees. Adds such a great layered look, and takes a basic up a notch, making it more unique and fun! There are a ton of colors in this bralette...and rightfully so...its perfectly designed! I think I'm up to 5 now!...because sooo good!!

4) The Denim Skirt
Love her with everything!! You need a good denim skirt for summer!! So perfect for vaction too...layer over a kini for an easy beach to lunch look. This is probably my 6th or 7th one this year, and my new favorite, because of the button front and the flirty hemline!

5) OTS anything
Off the shoulder tops, dresses, anything...are super trending this year, again. It's easy to wear, comfortable, and a little flirty. Loving this dress, with one of my favorite prints...gingham! This dress is such a must have...Slimming, flirty, and fun, you can dress it down like I did here, or even with flats and a ponytail, or add heels and a cute clutch...super versatile this beauty!
6) Not Remotely Basic Denim Shorts
Denim shorts are nothing new...but finding the perfect pair are. These are my absolute favorite of all that I tried and bought this year. I also have them in the blue denim. Love the distressing, love the pockets, love the fit (not to obscenely short), and the price tag...under $70! Such an all around winner in the fit department...and my legs are far from my pre-baby days...and they still look good. Plus, I'm obsessed with shorts and wedge sneakers like this...I love these sneakers so much I bought in two colors (you need these amazing kicks...favs!)

7) The Everyday Dress
We all need that throw it on and run out to a million places kind of dress. This guy is $55, and I own in black and grey as well. I can't tell you how many times I've worn them already...so I got a third color :) Dress it up or down, layer with a denim jacket...Love this easy, everyday dress!!!
8) White Jeans
I love a good white jean...I've been obsessed with white jeans forever!!! They are classic, refreshing, and with the right stain stick, super easy to keep clean! So summer perfect...and these jeans are my fav! I own them in 5 colors, because the fit is amazing, I love the busted knee, and the stretch is phenomenal!!! Oh and the price...only $78!
