Hi Loves,
Its been a week…I was called in for jury duty the day before my Hartley was starting Preschool again, and kid you not, I was a mess. I had worked myself up so badly and fearful of how she was going to get to school, and the fact that I could be missing it. Luckily I was dismissed and I got to take her...thank goodness, but woah did it throw me off a few days! Of course she was so excited, and I am obviously so excited for her…I loooved school…all my years…loved learning, loved my teachers and friends, loved being involved. Yet I most definitely shed tears after I dropped her off…I missed her terribly and it just means she is getting that much older…I find the loss of time so sad…even thou I am truly excited for everything that awaits! So that’s where my head has been this week…well there and on my home.
Our backyard is starting to pick up steam…some major hardscape is going in, and I’m starting to see our vision coming to life…but now I need to finalize design ideas in the casita. Ironically, designing for myself is the most difficult! My home seems to be bursting with stuff, so I’ve been trying to condense and get rid of things. I will also be focusing on gathering info on my home and how I decorated etc…it’s my #1 request and I’ve failed ya :( …honestly I gutted and bought all new everything right before I was blogging and didn’t realize the stores I bought from, or all the pieces I designed and had made, that I wouldn’t be able to link…hello…so it’s been a struggle, because it will require a ton of time to find similar to everything, and to shoot etc…as I’m not a professional:) I had it shot once, but the time was rushed and wasn’t super happy so I need to redo myself. However, I have given myself a deadline…because honestly I love Interior Design Equally to Fashion…one is just easier fo this momma of two toddlers to get the info to you quicker.
