White Always and The Perfect Splash of Camo

Ahhh...White jeans!! Fun fact: when Jordan and I started dating, white jeans was my signature look.  I was actually wearing them, the night I started thinking of him as more than just the nicest guy ever. He actually spilt a glass of wine on them that evening.  He was always so nervous around me (which I found so endearing)...but I was like nooooo...My brand new True Religions...(remember how huge that brand was). I was pretending like it was no big deal...feeling totally bad for him, but inside dying...ha!  Fast forward 7 years, and I still love them.  However, I haven't worn them in almost a year...I don't know...I don't feel comfortable wearing them pregnant, being so huge and all.  Actually, I debated even getting into them now, because I'm no where near my weight and they aren't that forgiving...ha...but as my father in law always says..."it's the journey."  So here we are, on my post baby, weight loss journey, and well, I ordered a new pair...an inexpensive pair, because I'm hoping to be too small for them sooner than later. For reference I'm 1 month postpartum in these photos.

I actually ordered the wrong style, for some reason I ordered tall, and then saw they had the regular length and added them to my order.  When they arrived, I forgot one set was tall and the other reg...and just tried these on and sent the rest back...bummer...because these actually are not meant to be rolled, they have an unfinished hem, which is so fun. Maybe I can just cut the hem and fray it a little...is that hard...hmmm.  Linking both, so be careful when purchasing.

Love this look for everyday mom life!  I'm obsessed with this tee. I just bought it in like 5 or 6 more colors...seriously the best, and it's only $25...I mean score!  I love a longer length, and I'm wearing a medium, even when I lose the weight, I still like it in a medium.  I also love v-necks...they look best on us broad shoulder, larger chest gals.  

Of course, I love to tie shirts around my waist... I mean so versatile, even when it's super hot.  I think I just really like the layered look.  I'm obsessed with this camo one, and it's so ridiculously soft and so easy to work with.  (I bought this in a solid gorgeous blush color too...I'll link below.)  While I don't see myself getting cold enough, to actually wear it anytime soon, because its Arizona, and I'm usually sweating, chasing my toddler, or wondering when its all going to go south...ha...toddlers in public, you never know when the tantrum will start.  She really is the greatest child, and I hate that I always sell her short, when I talk about taking her in public...like anything...this too shall pass.  I sometimes can't wait for the days when we get to have our lunch dates, and go to plays, musicals together...but that will mean she won't be this small babe that she is right now, and that just deeply saddens me!  So, I'll take the outbursts, because that means she's still my baby, and quite frankly, I don't want her or Grayson to grow up...Like any mom...I just want time to freeze...it's all going too fast...don't tear up...don't tear up (to be fair, we just finished watching Marley and Me, and I sobbed out loud, the last 20-25 min...oh God, so I'm super emotional...and we love you Scroons (that's Oscar, our Furry Son, and our first baby)...wait who am I kidding, I tear up on the daily thinking about this...

These sandals are awesome too...and now they are on super sale...I love an edgy sandal...and these give me life!  I'd totally pair these with a floral sundress...or with shorts...which I just can't wear yet...(props to all the mommas that worked out while they were preggos...you rock!)

Of course Brooklyn (my bag)...She is beyond words...love her...

This is such an easy, but still cute, everyday look, and totally affordable (minus Brooklyn).

Stock up on pieces like these, you won't be sorry.  Mom or not...I always find myself needing clothes like this, and I tend to reach for these types of things on the daily.
