Review on The Dockatot and The Ollie World Smarter Swaddle
Soooo little...Baby Gray was only a few weeks old here
HARTLEY: YELLOW TOP
Hi guys...I wanted to share with you my thoughts on these two amazing products...The Dockatot and The Ollie World Swaddle.
The Dockatot is a multi functional lounger, co-sleeper, and playtime lounger. A lot of people use the Dockatot for co-sleeping, but I already had a Halo from my first child, so I don't use it for that, but I hear it's a great option. I mainly use my Dockatot for transitioning between rooms. I love having it on the floor in my office while I blog. I work late into the night, and my Baby Grayson tends to be most awake these hours, not sure why. I absolutely love that its so portable, and I can carry it from my bedroom to my office, back and forth with ease. I'm also obsessing over their new toy arch and interchangeable toy sets! It's super easy to set up, and baby Gray loves having the toys dangling overhead. They entertain her and keep her cooing for quite some time. I will also easily carry this into whichever bedroom Hartley is wanting to play in. This way, Baby Gray can still be close to us, but I can give Hartley some one on one momma time. My favorite thing about The Dockatot is that it is portable, soft and cushioning all around, has the toy attachment to occupy her, and it's so easy to wash! Isn't it the cutest too! I've also used it for tummy time with my Gray and she loves it. Lastly, it's wonderful to bring outside, under the porch, when we are taking Hartley swimming. This way Baby Gray is with us, but again, I have the opportunity to not hold her the whole time, and interact with my older daughter. Balance is key for having an older sibling, and making sure they are not jealous of the newest little addition. Love our Dockatot and highly recommend. Actually, all my babies love it...my 2 year old, Hartley, gets a kick out of getting in it and relaxing, and I've caught my furry son, Oscar, our Yorkie, snuggling inside it as well...its a hit!
The Dockatot comes in two different sizes. The first, is the Deluxe, 0-8 months, and the second is the Grand, 9-36 months. Both are handmade in Europe with all natural, 100% cotton. They are tested for breathability and OEKO-TEX certified. Again, easy to take apart and wash the fabric..and I highly recommend getting the toy arch and attachments!
The Ollie Swaddle
Next is The Ollie Swaddle...Love this guy! I'm 100% on board with swaddling...it is a lifeline for me! Both my babies were/are the most content when swaddled. I definitely believe in the 4th trimester, post birth theory...and swaddling is my top soothing trick. Babies are used to feeling warm and bundled in the womb, so they are most happy when this same feeling is emulated, post birth. I truly believe it enhances the quality of her sleep, and keeps her content and in a deep sleep longer. This swaddle is amazing! I was a muslim swaddling expert with my first, but this guy, is sooooo much easier to use, and harder to break free from. It's super soft and breathable. It grows with baby, as there are 3 velcro sections that adjust with the size of your babe. You want to place it just below the shoulders, and away from the face. This ensures there is no downward constraint put on developing shoulders, and no fabric is around your baby's face or neck. Love this guy...seriously she has the best, most sound sleep, when she is wrapped up in this yumminess!
The Ollie World Swaddle is super easy to wash, I attach the velcro to each other, hand wash cycle, and hang dry...easy. It's made of custom moisture-wicking material to reduce the risk of overheating. It has a custom fit, so it can easily allow for fit to be individualized to meet the needs of your little one. Plus, you can easily change your babies diaper through the bottom without having to undo the wrap. Since it grows with your baby, you only need to invest in one size. Aesthetically, I think this swaddle is beautiful, and comes in the most charming box, which I actually saved. Seriously, I love this swaddle and highly recommend.
Thank you to Dockatot and The Ollie World Swaddle for sponsoring this post
