Designing Custom Shoes with Shoes of Prey...Which Anyone Can Do...How Fantastic!
That's right...custom shoes...This idea is brilliant...just brilliant!! Bonus: it's open to everyone...anyone, can now custom design their own shoes!!
How many times are you searching for shoes in a certain color, or wishing the shoes you were admiring, were just a little different? Shoes of Prey, www.shoesofprey.com, solves these problems for you, and in the coolest way! You can now custom design your own shoes, heels sandals, sneakers, and boots via their website, and for a reasonable price. You can create endless combinations, and they have so many styles of shoes to choose from. Which, is actually the only negative...ha...If you are anything like me, I had to see every style. I literally designed 6 shoes...and had the hardest time narrowing down. It was still over 100 degrees when I started this process, so for this collaboration I actually did more summer/pre fall shoes...I have two other gorgeous looks to show you in a few weeks...which I'm crazy excited about! I love this brand, and had bought a killer pair of leopard heels from them a few months back. They are the absolute, most perfect, pair of leopard heels ever, and were thus fulfilling my more statement/dressy heel need, so that's why I went a little more casual here.
For my first pair, I really wanted an everyday casual, mom appropriate shoe, that was still fashion forward, but I could wear on the daily. I wanted something cute for dresses, shorts, but in pre-fall colors. The past two years I've been on a neutral kick with footwear, and literally 90% of my closet is filled with neutral tones. I chose the Rio 55, and tried to make it different from the colors they sell pre-designed, for instance, at Nordstrom. I love that they tie around your ankles, and I was missing more of this in my closet. Within each shoe, there are a variety of options, such as the top portion, you can choose a criss-cross strap, full ankle back, thin ankle strap, and rio (what I chose). Next you could choose the style of heel, wedge, stiletto, thick block (what I chose), and block heel. Then you could choose from so many colors options for all of these parts of the shoe: Back Panel, Toe Strap, Ring Color, Heel, Sole, Lining, and Insole Trim.
Lastly, you can inscribe the shoe with a saying etc...I did my blog, because I love putting my blog name everywhere...ha! How great would this be to design your wedding shoes, put in your wedding date, etc...or a pair of shoes for your birthday, or for any other special occasion, and commemorate it with a special shoe/saying! This idea is incredible, and so reasonable in price, which you would think otherwise...
As well, wait till you get the box...they hands down, win Best Presentation within the box. They are perfectly and glamorously wrapped...its such a treat to just open the box and see whats within, and I have a lot of shoes triple the price, and still these are stunning.
For my 2nd shoe...I wanted to design a little more dressy everyday shoe, that I could wear year round, but have it in the theme colors of my blog. My blog colors are blush, gold, white, and black...so hence the coloring pf this heel. I chose style Hermosa 100...and I kept visualizing wearing my Givenchy bag with them...as I did below. Again, you can choose styling options, for heel design, height, top portion style, and then any color combination you wanted. I look forward to wearing this all next year as well, with gorgeous neutral tone midi dresses, or as I did here with jeans...so easy. I made the heel a different color than the straps, because it makes them different and more unique...why not right...so fun!
You can design your own shoes by visiting their website www.shoesofprey.com...seriously so much fun! Especially, when you need say a specific shoe...for example...wanting a red shoe, but can't find a goodie anywhere. Enjoy...you will have a blast!
You can get a free custom inscription (a $49 value) with code KimberlyBlank
